H. Claude Hudson Comprehensive Health Center (H. Claude Hudson CHC) delivers quality and culturally-competent health care services to the South Los Angeles community. H. Claude Hudson CHC was founded in 1910, originally as Methodist Hospital of Southern California. It was later renamed to John Wesley Hospital in 1955 and was finally known as H. Claude Hudson Comprehensive Health Center in 1979. The center’s name is in honor of H. Claude Hudson, who was a civil rights pioneer, community leader and businessman. H. Claude Hudson is dedicated to delivering quality health care and advancing the health and well-being of its community’s patients and families.
