Faculty Position in Division of Dermatology
The Department of Health Services, Los Angeles County is recruiting for a full-time dermatologist with duties in education and direct patient care.
The candidate must have demonstrated passion and commitment to both education and scholarship, as well as possess exceptional leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. Expertise or special interest in quality improvement and improving access to underserved populations is a strong plus, as is interest in medical student and dermatology resident education. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate dermatology care within a safety-net health system with an interest in developing further leadership in the institution and in the specialty. It is expected that the candidate would be appointed to an appropriate professorial series at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Salary would be commensurate with level of experience.
The Los Angeles County Department of Health Services operates the public hospitals and clinics in Los Angeles County and is United States’ second largest municipal health system.
